Brittany’s startup tied with J. Johnson & Company (HUBB Kitchens) at our joint Fourscore Law x Incolo Feb 15, 2023 event about raising capital from the crowd. Tied specifically in votes for who Incolo should invest $ into. Then Britany proceeded to tell us that the money we were going to invest in her startup should go to Jason’s startup after she learned what HUBB Kitchens does. That move made us fall even more in love with her company.
Isosceles Pharmaceuticals on EquiFund

- Isosceles is a preclinical stage pharmaceutical company developing intravenous formulations of synthetic Cannabidiol (CBD) with a goal to make these a non-addictive alternative to opioids.
Using CBD to create a non-addictive alternative to opioids was just a no-brainer to us. Also, Isosceles became the largest raise to date offered to the crowd from an NC company (as of late 2022) AND they are located in our Founder’s hometown, Wilmington, NC. How could we not invest?

This is a self-preservation strategy for our team. Gotta be able to hit that snowboarding slope late in life.
